Overview

What it is, plainly.

A generation of women over-plucked their eyebrows in the 90s and never recovered. Many men have genetically thin or asymmetric brows. Trauma, alopecia, scarring all leave gaps. Microblading covers it but lasts 12–18 months and never grows.

Eyebrow transplant uses follicular units harvested from the back of the head, implanted into the brow at angles matching natural brow growth. Once healed, the hair grows continuously — they can be combed, pencil-free, permanent.

The art lies in design. Dr. Anitha drafts your brow shape in person, in front of a mirror, and only proceeds when you are happy with the line. Angles are critical — eyebrow hair angles change every 5 millimetres along the brow.

Your Plan

Step-by-step, no surprises.

  1. Design Consultation

Brow shape drawn live with cosmetic pencil. Refined until you are happy. Photographed for surgical reference.

  2. Donor Assessment

Single hairs from above the ears match brow texture best. Typically 100–300 grafts per brow.

  3. Local Anaesthesia

Comfortable throughout. Procedure is performed lying down.

  4. FUE Extraction

Individual follicles harvested. Donor area heals invisibly under existing hair.

  5. Recipient Site Creation

Tiny slits at exact angles — angle changes every 5mm along the brow. This is the art.

  6. Implantation & Healing

Each graft placed individually. Tiny crusts at day 5 shed naturally. Brushing brows from day 14.

FAQ

Common questions, clear answers.

How is this different from microblading?

Microblading is pigment in skin — fades in 12–18 months and never grows. Transplant is your own hair — permanent, growing, can be brushed/styled.

Will I have to trim them?

Yes — transplanted hair grows like scalp hair (because it is). Trim every 1–2 weeks once growth normalises at 6–12 months.

Can it be done after microblading?

Yes — but we wait 12 months for pigment to fade so we can see the natural brow shape clearly.

How natural will it look?

Indistinguishable from natural brows — when angles are correct. We won't compromise on this. The whole result rests on it.
