Thinning hair? There's a path forward.
Female hair loss has distinct causes — hormonal, nutritional, post-partum, thyroid, stress-related. Dr. Anitha takes each cause seriously, with a thorough workup and a treatment plan built for the unique biology of women's hair.
More than a cosmetic problem.
Female hair loss is often dismissed or oversimplified. We take it seriously — and we investigate it properly.
Common causes include female pattern hair loss (genetics), telogen effluvium (post-illness, post-stress, post-partum), nutritional deficiencies (iron, vitamin D, B12), thyroid dysfunction, PCOS, and scarring alopecias.
Every consultation includes trichoscopy, scalp mapping, hormonal & nutritional workup and a detailed personal/family history. Only then do we recommend therapy.
Treatment options include topical minoxidil, oral minoxidil, anti-androgens (spironolactone, finasteride for select cases), PRP/GFC, LLLT (red-light therapy) and supplements.

Common questions, clear answers.
Is my hair loss permanent?
Most female hair loss is at least partially reversible with the right treatment. We'll give you an honest prognosis after the evaluation.
How long until I see results?
Reduced shedding: 6–8 weeks. Visible thickening: 3–4 months. Full benefit: 6–12 months.
Can I use minoxidil if I'm trying to conceive?
Topical minoxidil is generally paused during pregnancy/breastfeeding. We'll give you safe alternatives.
Is hair transplant an option for women?
For pattern-type loss with stable donor areas, yes. But most women benefit more from medical & regenerative therapy first.
